"We engaged VETSBUILT after a disastrous few months with an unlicensed contractor who took a lot of money from us and did very little in return. We called DJ, who promptly came round, assessed what needed to be done, and got his crews to work. In addition to managing his workload, he also went out of his way to recover some marble that had been 'lost' by the previous contractor. At all stages of the process we were kept informed, and everything was clearly laid out in contracts and change orders. What started as a relatively small project took on a whole new scope once we saw how well DJ managed the crews and got the work done. "We hired VETSBUILT to come out as a general. Contractor to do painting, install of cabinets, and redesign of cabinets. In addition to that the kitchen counter concrete tops needed to be taken out and new granite tops installed. We needed the use of a plumber, electricians, painters and carpenter.
Bob Jenkins handled everything. He presented me with a very thorough contract that listed all costs and both the expectations from VETSBUILT as well as my role in the project. I found this very helpful because this eliminated any surprises.
