ABOUT US

Brothers DJ and Bob Jenkins started VETSBUILT Contracting in November 2014 in Carefree, AZ.  Their goal was to build VETSBUILT into a solid, trusted, reliable and reputable builder/contractor in the Phoenix area.  To date they have exceeded those expectations!

VETSBUILT is fully licensed, bonded and insured! Our AZ ROC license is: 305165.

They are committed to helping and hiring veterans and putting them to work.  At the moment, they have appx 50 subcontractors they work with, and almost 40% are veteran-owned or have vets working for them! Why?  They believe deeply in serving and those who have served our country, here's why:

  • Their great uncle Charlie was a Welsh coal miner who immigrated to the US and fought as a Marine in WWI.

  • Their father Lew was a Capt. In the Army and fought at “The Bulge” under Gen. George Patton in WWII.

  • Their older brother Tom is a Former Marine.

  • Bob’s son Will served as a Navy Seabee.

  • Bob is a Former Marine, and ...

  • DJ tried to join the Marine Corps but open-heart surgery kept him from serving.

Bob was an MOS “1371” Combat Engineer in the Marine Corps and has been involved in many types of construction.

DJ holds his AZ real estate license and has been deeply involved in many aspects of real estate and land development for over the past fifteen years.  They have also partnered with Arcbilt Development and together they bring you over 30+ years of experience in the building, construction and real estate market surrounding Phoenix.

They also volunteer and donate both time and money to several
veteran causes and are especially a proud member of
the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation (MCLEF).

FREEDOM. Semper Fi; Always Faithful.
